The “Kuala Lumpur Conference 2024 – Reassessing Human Security in Central and South Asia: Way Forward?” was held on December 1, 2024, organized by the Allied Coordinating Council of Islamic NGOs Malaysia (ACCIN), MAPIM, and MAIWP. Hidayet Oğuzhan, President of the International Union of East Turkistan Organizations, participated as a special panelist.
In his speech titled “Human Rights and Freedom of the Uyghur People: Can a Solution Be Drafted?”, Hidayet Oğuzhan highlighted the ongoing genocide and human rights abuses perpetrated by China in East Turkistan and proposed potential solutions to address the crisis.
This conference served to foster international awareness and solidarity.
