The IIPC 2025 concluded with the presentation of the following conference resolutions by Hj Haniff and Hj Ir Jamaludin:
1. Teach the values of compassion, justice, and peace which are advocated by all the major religions as part of the curriculum in schools. This should be extended to workplaces, religious centres and communities.
2. Encourage dialogue and joint action that transcends geographical, cultural, and religious boundaries. Organise conferences and events that go beyond mere networking, foster transformative learning, shape collective narratives, and inspire actionable commitments that extend far beyond the walls of the conference / event venue.
3. Address genuine concerns from the public on justice and discrimination.
4. Adopt a research-based and inclusive approach which is backed up by sufficient data for interfaith engagement which can yield strategies that are not only measurable but also replicable and sustainable.
5. Focus on the universal concerns which are common to all major faiths of feeding the poor and marginalised, protecting the environment and educating the young. The concerns must be translated into governance, economics and the way nations relate to one another for a new, more humane world order.
6. Move from mere rhetoric on multi-cultural, multi-religious unity to formulate practical programs which promote genuine interaction and working together between different communities. This could include festive open houses to gotong-royong or communal work which involves communities of different faiths and cultures. Promote global models of dialogue and coexistence such as Malaysia and Qatar.
7. Leverage on youth, social media and AI in dispelling misconceptions, mitigating tensions, and fostering a culture of peace that is intellectually grounded and morally anchored.
8. In response to humanity’s crying out for solidarity with regard to conflict-affected regions facing war, famine and displacement, taking the genocide in Gaza as a prime example, IIPC hereby:
a. Unequivocally stands against Israel’s ongoing genocide, induced famine, prevention of aid reaching the needy, mass destruction and repeated forced displacement of Palestinians in Gaza;
b. Denounces Israel’s continued wrongful occupation and colonisation of Palestinian territory recognised as illegal under international law and UN resolutions
